Getz for Buff

Defensmen are valuable in our league but we're talking Getzlaf here!
Playoffs and salary count.
Mcbain is my only other defense in replacement for Byfuglien. So i will loose like 25 pts. Getz will probable replace my D. Roy.
What do you think? Woild you give up your Byfuglien for Getzlaf?

We would have to see your team to make a proper assessment but on the surface I would prefer Getz here...especially if he's essentially replacing D. Roy who's going to be out for a quite a while. Basically the question is Getz/McBain vs Roy/Buf and because of Roy's injury I think the Getz package will get more points going forward (eventhough Buf will outpoint McBain by a good margin)...plus I think Buf is a great sell high candidate...I hear a lot of ppl putting him in the same realm as Green and frankly I'm not drinking that kool-aid...I have Buf in one of my leagues and if I was ever offered Getz I would jump all over it...especially in a pts only league!

Great sell high position. You would certainly be maximixing Byf's value here by getting Getzlaf in return. I'd make the move and try to upgrade defence another way.
I have Byfuglien in one league and i would trade him for Getzlaf within seconds. Buff isn´t for real!!
When u say Def are valuable in your league how so?
