RW Log Jam

I'm hurting in PIMs and hits in my league with the other stats shown below. Steve downie is on the waiver wire and will hopefully be back in early January. I have a few injured players, all RWs, coming back (hopefully) end of Dec, Early Jan. Would Downie be worth picking up and stashing over one of the guys on this roster???

You know with those stats I'd give some consideration to owning Downie over any of those RW. No sense in ditching scoring types like Hemsky and Hejduk but Brouwer and Holmstrom aren't giving you anything that isn't replaceable.

Personally I'd love to drop Brouwer and snag Downie but until some of your guys or Downie get back healthy this doesn't seem to be a great move. You'd lose a good deal of production simply not having any healthy bodies to roster out of that position. Whenever you get enough guys back or Downie gets back look into that swap though.

Yeah that is definitely what i'm thinking i'm just afraid someone is going to snag him up...haha...

Hopefully Hemsky (skating), Okposo (skating) or Hejduk comes back soon so i dont' miss out on him!

Yeah, we only have one IR slot per team, so that is a no go there.

We dress 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D AND 2G per night with daily changes and no max # games.

Ah ok, might be best to hold off as you don't have max games, as you'll definitely lose out for a few weeks. However, once one of your injured guys come back, I would snap him up right away.
