Bad trade or really good steal?
So I'm waiting on the league to approve the following trade... I feel as if I am stealing here.. am I delusional?
Offering - Ribeiro and Turco
Getting - P. Marleau and Vokoun
Vokoun hasn't been stellar, but way better than Turco for starts and the potential for a trade later in the season is possible.
Marleau... not going as of late... but he's on the non-cut list so trading for him is the only way.... I got Ribeiro off WW so not really a huge loss....

Did you notice that Liles is out for the season? Shattenkirk is going to be the man from here on out. Yeah, I'd take him over Martin in a heartbeat (and did, last week). But as for your trade, I'd be astonished if it doesn't get vetoed. Turco is a stiff. Worthless at this point. And you're getting a top goalie and a top forward for an alcoholic who happens to score a bunch of ponts.

Took me a while to recover from hearing what you fetched with Stamkos.
That's a great deal for you! I think Marleau will turn things around and I'd take Vokoun over Turco any day. And if Vokoun gets dealt, even better.

I agree with the overall consensus,
I had Shatts from day one and MAN what a gem. Top PP mins, great point per game production. Hopefully you get him.
Turco is done, Crawford is in and swapping Turco for Vokoun is an upgrade.
Marleau is a buy low guy and your doing that by giving Ribeiro.
I wouldn't say your making a steal to where you have to worry about the trade being accepted, but you come out on top for sure.
