    Default Drop Subban/Carlson?

Team in the signature. Since last post I have actually moved down the rankings a bit (Been sitting in 2nd last place for a few weeks now).

    On the wire is:
    Marc Staal
    Burns
    Shattenkirk
    Girardi
    Zidlicky
    Bouwmeester

I would also be up for dropping a D man for a forward, many other guys seem to work well enough with only 4 D as there are daily line up changes.

    Steen
    Purcell
    Evander Kane
    Ray Whitney
    Samuelsson
    Prust (LW)

The doubty owner in my league is looking to deal as well, but I have a feeling he wants someone more than I could afford to give.

Let me know what you think!

I am top of league for A/PPP, bottom for the rest of the stats, middle of pack for goal tending stats.

I think in a one-year league it's best to just leave Doughty alone. He's undroppable and just an anchor weighing on his owner. Leave him there.

As for those add/drop possibilities. I'd hang onto Carlson. He's been productive enough to keep around. Subban looks like he's worth dumping though. Shattenkirk would be a great option as he's on fire. I also like the option of only rostering 4 D. Forwards are generally way more productive even if you have to bench one on occassion. Steen jumps out at me as the best option available. That said I'm not so sure he's so much more productive than Shattenkirk right now. So maybe snag Shattenkirk because he's got a nice 4 game schedule this week but keep your eye on Steen.

If it were me... I'd be dropping Subban and Carlson for Shattenkirk and Steen.

Carlson has been okay, but like MetalDude said, Steen is going to help you way more as a forward. I'd never carry more D than your roster requires. And, with all the injuries (and long term ones) in St. Louis, Steen will be top 6 for some time... He's making the most of the opportunity for sure.

I'm with J_Bluenote here, grab Shattenkirk and Steen/Whitney for Carlson/Subban.Your D is solid, no need to carry 5 D as long as Kronwall is actually healthy.

Unfortunately, Shat got picked up 2 mins before I did my adds this morning (guy dropped ellis). I dropped subban for steen. One of the higher up players rolls with 3 D in my league, so I could still try that.

The 2 or so times a D might get benched might get made up in the rest of the week + pts difference...

Edit: Tomas Fleischmann is also available.
