I haven't seen Atlanta play even once this year and was wondering if Byfuglien has been playing any forward or if he only plays defense for Atlanta. The numbers he is putting up this year are unreal for a dman.
He's been playing pure defense. It's amazing how comfortable he is back there. They've really been using him to help rush the puck up the ice. He and Enstrom are a very dynamic pairing.
unbelievable. I knew he was playing "mostly" defense, but I sort of assumed he was playing some forward. Those numbers are just gaudy. He's got to be the front runner for the Norris, I'd assume.
every season some player just blows away my expectations of him. This year it is Byfuglien.
