Subban dropped

So I have a think FA pool in my league, especially on D and in goal. Subban was just dropped, do I take a flyer on him or even EJ? Or stick with Gonchar, Karlsson, Weber & Fowler?

Also, thoughts on Benn/Skinner? I've got a few LW's but Fleishman/Ennis/van Riemsdyk are available and with Horcoff on the IR, Vermette is an option at C. Top RW's are Kovalev/Little/Erat/Nodl/Pominville and I could use on more so than a LW.

Fowler's the only one I would think about dropping for either PK or EJ but even then, he is putting up pretty good totals so I'd wait on that.

As for your other inquiry, I'll assume you own Benn & Skinner? From the list you gave, I think Fleischman is finding a groove with the Av's is definitely worth a look over any of the other players you listed in a 1 year league.

Don't drop Fowler...kid is getting heavy minutes on Duck's PP unit which will give him nice production this season...I would however dump the shit out of Lupul and pick up Fleischmann as he is getting solid PP time and will stick in a to 6 role all season long with the Av's...I'd consider him your #2 LW overall

I was hoping for some magical spark from Lupul, but he's only getting around 15mins/gm and isn't skating with anyone worth while.

Agreed, if I don't drop a D for one of Subban/EJ then it's not worth carrying 5 D. But PIMs are gold in my league and EJ has 5pts (2PP) in 6gms with 6PIMs ... is there a chance he's bouncing back?

yes I like SKinner nad Benn over Lupul by far...and yes there is a very good chance he can bounce back as a consistent producer however I would still take Fowler over him as that Ducks PP is dominant in which he is getting heavy time on and Visnovsky is always an injury liability which could give him even high value should he go down at any point...Fowler should score right around 40-45 point pace which I wouldn't expect Johnson with the emergence of the more offensively gifted Pietrangelo to eclipse and Subban i'm not high on as his game doesn't back up his mouth and he has been brutal all season in MTL to where i'd much rather invest in Fowler or Johnson over him

his PP time is going up, 4:23/gm for his last 5 and might be a great source of SHP (tied for league lead with 4), hell he has more goals too than Green(!), Lidstrom, Weber...

or is he merely in a hot streak, and i should be more patient with Subban?
