Does anyone know about Shattenkirk's history, and how he's expected to perform? He's still on the wire in my league, but I'm skeptical about his ability to keep up this kind of play.

I picked him up 3 weeks ago...the fact you didn't miss the boat by now is a joke after the kid has a 9 game point streak...he captained both BU and US junior team he is a leader, extremely poised, and a deft puck mover...get all over that before the other people in your league pull their heads out of their asses...I honestly expect him to score at same pace as Liles does from here out if not higher as he is the superior talent and both getting heavy minutes on that potent Av's top PP unit..as long as he remains there he is absolute gold...kids the real deal make the pull
I agree he's the real deal. This kid is amazing. I snatched him up in 2 leagues before most of the other guys heard of him...and that was still only like 2 weeks ago. I'm a little surprised he flew under the radar for that long.
Maybe his point streak is a bit nuts, but I think he'll play with consistency in the future, which is very important.
It would help to see who's on your team and what the structure is (h2h or roto w/max plays) but I would say now's as good a time as any to get him if he's available.

Love Shattenkirk - he's paying huge dividends for me, but I definitely wouldn't dorp any of those 4 for him.
Yeah I read up on his history, he looks like a stud. I plan on grabbing him. The only problem is my league has only 22 yearly adds. I've used 11 already. I don't really have anyone worth dropping. My D are:
Burns
Pitkanen
Keith
Whitney
I'm definitely not dropping Whitney and Keith, and I am unsure if I should drop Burns or Pitkanen. The other option would be rolling with 5 D and dropping Voracek.
What should I do?
It's a POINTS ONLY league.
