Default Vokoun for Peverly + Budaj?

I have been offered Peverly and Budaj for Vokoun in a deep points-only league. My centers are:
    Ryan Kesler
    Jarret Stoll
    Valtteri Filppula
    Derek Stepan
    Kevin Porter
    Brandon Sutter
    Marcus Johansson

    My Goaltenders are:
    Vokoun
    Backstrom
    Garon

    My question is:
What will become of Budaj when Anderson returns? Is this a good trade?

Budaj will not have a much of a role once Anderson returns. He will be second banana in Colorado again. I would keep Vokoun instead. You are already stacked at Centre and if the pool is as deep as you say it is, you're better off how you are now.

Thanks for the reply. The league has 15 teams and 28-man rosters, so there is very little left on the ww. I would like to improve my centers but I think you're right about sticking with Vokoun.

Looks to me that someone is trying to sell high on Budaj no way you take that there are other ways to improve at C

You don't trade Vokoun (even though he's on the Panthers) for someone like Budaj! I feel you pain JD88, I'd be selling him off for peanuts. The ther GM is trying to low ball you on this one.

If you really want to improve your C, you could easily trade Vokoun alone for a first line centre; especially in a deep league.

don't do this..especially when coupled with the fact that vokoun will be moved to a contender come february which will give him a considerable bump in value from there on out

How sure are you that he'll be moved to a contender? I know his contract is up but I wonder what the asking price would be for Vokoun?

very sure...they've got some ahl guyt thats allegedly amazing and his contract is up to where they will trade him for pieces to rebuild elsewhere and go with the younger guy and likely a cheap veteran mentor combination..instead of just lose him for nothing in free agency

lol Regardless of whether or not Vokoun gets traded, I would consider him almost an elite goaltender. Plays for a garbage team and has sparkling ratios, he's like the Felix Hernandez of hockey
