    Default Taormina leaves practice hurt

Devils' defenseman Matt Taormina was forced to leave practice on Sunday after being struck in the foot with a shot.
Taormina reportedly couldn't place any weight on the injured foot and had to be helped off the ice. We don't know the full extent of the injury yet, but Taormina owners would be prudent to reserve for the upcoming week.

So I've read that x-rays were negative (which is good) but I've seen no indication of when he might be back. Anyone else see anything?

Damn New Jersey! Matt Taromina and Martin Brodeur both injured with a case of lack of pride...not sure if thats an upper or lower body injury

haven't heard a lot on him but from what I understand, its a sprain and he's likely to be out a week so I would look for news on him starting early next week to see how he's progressing

Thanks - I'll keep him reserved for the week to be safe.
