my Phaneuf, Alfy for Carlson and Nash
My team is doing well (4-1) so far, but I have my doubts about Phaneuf and Alfy. I realize I may lose on the d-side of the deal, but Carlson's +/- should even things with Phaneuf, and I'm betting that Nash will outproduce Alfredsson. Thoughts?
10 team head-to head league; total pts (goals, assists, ppg, +/-, hits; Wins, Saves, GA, SO). Start 6 f, 4 d, 2 goalies each week.
Forward: Ovechkin, Toews, Datsyuk, Wheeler, Okposo, D. Sedin, Granlund, Nichuskin
Defense: Hedman, Doughty, Letang, Markov, Sekera, Enstrom
Goalie: Crawford, Howard, Halak, Pavelec
IR: Stepan
Alfie and Nash will be about a wash points-wise...Nash will beat Alfie by around 5 goals or so though...Phaneuf is far better tha Carlson...I wouldn't waste my time on that deal as you're not gonna gain a whole lot overall and more liekly than not are gonna end up with the shorter end of it...try and upgrade Carlson
Honestly, I like Alfy better than Nash. The old guy hasn't slowed down. I think you'll get more assists with Alfy but higher goals and SOG's with Nash.
As for your d-men, I'm not sold on Carlson...yet. Phaneuf is not doing much right now. So Carlson looks better, to me.

I agree with the other two.
I think Nash is pretty over rated. Ya, he's good. But so's Alfy. I actualy think Alfy will out point Nash...but Nash will get more goals. As for Phaneuf vs. Carlson. I like Phaneuf better. In a long term keeper, Calrson would probably have the edge, but if you're competing this year...keep Phaneuf. I think his #'s will surprise you when he comes back.
