I hate to say it but I think Markov as we know him is done. I am a Markov owner, Habs fan and huge Markov fan but this is the beginning of the end. Hope I am wrong, but...

It's sad because I really like him and was a big reason I won 2 years ago. I hope it's not true.

How the hell did a 10 year vet finally reach band-aid boy status? This is crazy!

Three very bad injuries within a 13-month span will do that. These knee injuries are bad ones. Not sure how Markov could return (even next year) and not play scared and hesitant.

Default What are the Depth Charts looking like for Montreal now that Markov is out?

Does anyone know who fills Markov's spot on the Roster. I have heard Picard, along with a few other names.

I don't think he knows how to play scared and hesitant, that's what keeps getting him injured. All out or nothing, that's what us Hab fans love about him. Hopefully he makes it back for next season.

I'm hoping Weber gets a shot at filling in, he's got talent and this could be his opportunity to showcase it. On the other hand, do you really want to have 2 kids on the blueline or do you go with a MAB option, who sort of helped them last year, other than his poor defensive play.

J.Martin said there will be no recall from Hamilton for now.
A.Picard will take Markov's spot in the lineup.
When we know Markov's injury status, I think they will look for some long term solutions.
They will have about 5+ millions $ in cap to find something...

Just found these - not sure how reliable they are, but if so, that's probably it for the season. However, perhaps we should wait until official word:

bizzy...losing markov for EJ is definately oing to hurt, but looking at your roster in a 20 team league, I think you will be o.k. Also, on a side note, I never understand how a team like that could be built in a 20 teamer, unless half the G.M's don't follow hockey.

Is Yannick Weber not NHL ready? He seems to be lighting up the AHL

    Does anyone know?
