I picked Steve Mason up for my prospects squad in a deep keeper league I\'m in just after his strong showing in C-bus\' training camp this year. What do you all think of his play in the WJCs? Anybody else picking him up?

Little early yet, Bernier is still probably a better prospect. On another note, Mason just got traded from the London Knights to the Kitchener Rangers.

I thought he played well today as did the whole Canadian team. They outplayed and outworked the US. As a Bernier owner I was hoping he would tank and they would play Bernier.

well mason was named player of the game for canada, so no takning today thankfully. does anyone think that as a result of the WJC Mason\'s stock has risen and Bernier\'s fallen? obviously Bernier has a brighter future and I think the better goaltender, but I\'m just curious as to what people think. I still put Bernier 2nd to Price as far as goalie prospects go.

My only real concern with mason is his mental game. If he lets a bad goal in, he doesn\'t recover all that quickly(whereas Price and Bernier aren\'t usually shaken up). He lets in a weak goal in...not every game, but maybe every other one. It\'s a little worrying. I like his skillset, but you can train that.
