start dubinsky at center this week. that allows you get lou E into the line-up
I have made a couple of waiver wire pickups and made my starts for this upcoming week more difficult. I have detailed my forward lineups below and ranked my forwards on how I think they should be ranked for this week.
I would really appreciate comments on my ranking for this week and decision on who should start and who shouldn’t. Any critiques are very welcome and helpful!
Centers: (Starting top 2)
1. Backstrom, Nicklas (4Games) [@NYR, TB, @BUF, ATL]
- No brainer start. Playing well and has 4 games this week.
2. Eberle, Jordan (4 Games) [@CAR, @DET, @NJ, @NYR]
- Been playing well this year, but mostly starting because of the 4 games this week.
3. Carter, Jeff (2 Games) [@CAR, FLA]
- Has been playing alright, but only has 2 games this week. I hate sitting him since he can go off at anytime though, but Eberle’s 4 games are a tough factor to battle.
4. Skinner, Jeff (3 Games) [EDM, PHI, @MON]
- Stud, but is still listed as a “C” on CBS’s website and is still only getting 15 mins a night on average, so I don’t want to risk starting him yet. I can be convinced of it though.
Wings: (Starting top 4)
1. Perry, Corey (4 Games) [@SJ, NYI, DAL, @CHI]
- Has been a stud so far this year and a no brainer start with 4 games this week.
2. Dubinsky, Brandon (3 Games) [WAS, BUF, EDM]
- Despite still having CBS eligibility at a “C”, since he is listed as a “LW” on the official depth chart, my commish lets me play him at the wing. He has been on fire lately and I figure he needs to be ridden while I can.
3. Kessel, Phil (3 Games) [@TB, @FLA, VAN]
- Has gone ice cold, but he is way too talented a goal scorer and I have no idea when he could light it up for 3 in one night.
4. Hemsky, Ales (4 Games) [@CAR, @DET, @NJ, @NYR]
- Debating if this is a good start over Erikson or not. The 4 games in a week is very tempting, but he hasn’t done much fantasy wise recently.
5. Eriksson, Loui (2 Games) [@LA, @ANA]
- Sitting the number one winger in fantasy right now is tough for me to do and I would feel like an idiot if he lit it up, but I don’t know who to sit for him or if I should depend on him since he only has 2 games.
6. Havlat, Martin (3 Games) [@ATL, @FLA, @TB]
- Been doing better as of late, but still isn’t up to par of being a consistant starter. Need to see something good before I start him.
In too many leagues for too much money to put my teams in my signature anymore

Hemsky had 2 assts tonight, but yes LouiE is hard to sit....I would still start Hemsky due to the 4 games and he really looked smooth tonight. LouiE playing vs LA is tough since they have been so good as a team defensively and even ANH has played better recently...
