Iggy
Does he have a shot at getting into a point per game pace soon?
I want to land him in a buy low trade, but I want to wait until his value is at it's lowest.
Last year at this point he only had 9 points and ended up with 69.
The 3 seasons before that he was better than a point per game every October.
I've heard him called a slow starter before, but looking over his stats I don't see why.
Are we seeing a decline in his production or is he good for better than 70 this season?

I think he is a 30-35G 65-70pt 60-80 PIm guy with pretty good +/-...80-90 point days and 40G is a thing of the past for him...I'd actually go with Bourque over him as he has less of a name attached to him will hit 30G and 60-65 pts..more PIM's than iginla same solid +/- for 1/2 the price of iginla...that's who I'd target instead
I put him around 65 points, 30 goals maybe. If he finishes above 65 points and +1 I'll be damn surprised, but I'm pretty down on Calgary.

stars turn poor starts into good seasons. It's those rookies and middle tiered players that usually can't deal with it. The stars have the mental capacity to overcome.

I can see him cracking 70 points, probably 35 goals
Hes definetly declining but I think he can still be a solid contributor across the boards with solid PIMs(thinking 85-90) and a respectable +/-

Interesting stat. 4 goals in his last 24 games. I'm also down on Calgary this year. I think it would be a stretch if he gets 30 goals/70pts. MT319 brings up a good point. Targeting Bourque would be more wise as he will get you almost the same pts(assuming he stays healthy) without the heavy asking price that Iggy gets. I've put out some offers and people always counter with 85-90pt players in return. Just because his name is Iginla and not based on his scary decline the last few seasons
I already have Bourque.
I'm debating offering Selanne for Iggy to a guy who loves Selanne. Just trying o time it so that Iggy starts up soon after and Teemu slows down.

He has 1 2-goal game, and the price shoots back up for a long time. Why wait? He looks terrible now.
