Who would you pick ?

Hello guys,

If you could pick one of those players in your keeper, who would it be ?
And how would you rank them ?

Peter Mueller, Jason Pominville, Bobby Ryan, Chris Higgins, Jakub Voracek, Alexei Cherepanov, Milan Michalek, Andrei Kostitsyn

Hard to choose. I\'m hearing a lot of good things about Mueller, but a Phoenix player, to me, is always a turn-off. I really like Michalek even with the taste of the Sharks elimination still in my mouth, I\'ve seen Voracek and he\'s a heck of a player, but there are pretty good kids on that list, and its not that easy. Note that goals give two points in my pool, so it can be a factor.

Michalek - best choice for sure i think
Higgins
Mueller

well i would have to say:Michalek, Pommindville, and Mueller. This poll will be way different next season at this time.

My opinion, for what it\'s worth:

Michalek
Higgins
Voracek (depending on who drafts him)
Mueller would be in 3rd for me, but he\'s on PHX and they seem to be in disarray right now

I\'m surprised to only see Pomminville on this list once. I think he\'s bound to do much better next year and with the eminent mix up that is going to occur in SJ, you never know where Michalek is going to land. He should be on the top line but you never know. Pomminville is a sniper so if your league counts goals more than assists, grab him.

Thanks guys. Still thinking about it. So Michalek is obviously a popular choice. I feel the \"Phoenix factor\" is really hurting Mueller, but, then again, who knows ? He\'ll get plenty of ice time, and some good free agent signings could make a difference.

Pominville ? I really like him, but I\'m not sure what his upside is. The fact that he\'s a goal scorer is a big plus in my keeper, though, must think about it all.

Right now, to be honest, I think I\'d choose Milan M., with Voracek being a close second. Just not sure how many years it will take Voracek to play in the NHL...:dry:

I would not even consider Pomminville until I knew that Briere was staying. If Briere goes so does Pominvilles numbers, also consider that Connolly is presumably going to be healthy next year. Even if Briere stays Connolly will eat up more of Pominvilles pp minutes that he was able to enjoy this year. Heads up

For next season only, I would go with Michalek.

For long term, I would go with Mueller.
