Buy Brodeur+?

I've been trying to shop Kiprusoff and I almost received a legitimate offer this morning.

His: Brodeur/Perry/Zetterberg

My: Kiprusoff/Iginla/Heatley

I don't think I'll accept this one, but it's a start. I really want to dish Kiprusoff but what should I look for in return?

-I have 5 C's - perfect amount for this league. So I can't take Zetts even if I wanted to.

-It's a semi-keeper, and I would be keeping Heatley. Having him in H2H with Thornton is a +. But I don't mind moving Iginla at all. We don't count PIMS and that hurts Perry's value.

-Is now the time to buy Brodeur while the Devils are awful? Will he have better stats than Kipper by years end?

I think you should take that deal and run. But you can try replacing Heatley with Thornton and see what he does. I get what you are saying about your centers, but you can always trade one of them away.

how many do you play a night? 1 or 2 goalies?
i like getting brodeur i think he will be much better than kipper by year end. but like you said losing heatley is a direction i dont want to go in. with you counting PPG and PPA seperatly heatley's value becomes even higher. thats 2 stats apposed to just the normal one for PPP. i would do kipper and iginla for brodeur and perry ( i am not a perry fan but he will get you points).. does he have anyone else of top value besides perry?

also update your sig bc i am not seeing iggy listed so i am a bit confused.

Brodeur > Kipper
Perry > Iginla (Yes, Iggy on the way down)
Heatley = Zetts (or very close at least)

That's my bad. I'm currently dropping Iginla for Kovalchuk. There's another long thread with the story behind that one... I could still drop someone else instead of Iggy though.

We play 2 goalies on any given night with a maximum of 3 on the roster. Can only keep 1 at the end of the year though.

I prefer Heatley over Perry in this league.

I think he'll be offended If I offer Kiprusoff/Iginla for Brodeur/Perry but I guess we'll see!!!

I would love to keep Eberle (and Perry) but I don't see how I can with all the players in my lineup (see signature, minus Iggy). DAMNIT lol What do you think? Do it anyway?

Keep in mind we don't count PIMS and I don't think we ever will.

im with you i dont like it. i rather see you with hossa as a keeper than one of perry or eberle. i think your giving up too much. you want the win now not in the future.
