Default Start Lundqvist or Turco ? (against each other)

Hawks v. Rangers, and I own both goalies (although Turco is not confirmed as starter on Leftwinglock).

Lundqvist is coming off a shutout, but can the Rangers D hold off the Chicago offense ?

Turco is coming off of a strong game and facing an anaemic Rangers offense.

i think lundqvist should be the goaile to start unless you can start both. turco has been good but 2 games ago he let in 6 goals on 18 shots or something like that.

so you never know. lundqvist usually gives the overall better stats. win or not.

i have a similar issue. i have lundy, turco, and brodeur. leaning to starting turco and lundqvist as i am in h2h so this will secure me the win. just not sure yet. tuff to sit brodeur.

sorry wasnt much help but yeah i think lundqvist is the better option

Looking over your sig I see that you can start both. I'd fire them both in there and secure the win while hoping for a 2-1 or 3-2 outcome. That's what I'm doing in my league.

    I started both and got a combined stat line of 1W, 2.53 GAA, 53 SV & 0.914 SV%

not great but not too shabby... ahh, the joys of owning Turco. when will i ever learn to stop owning him. season after season, it's like an abusive relationship i can't get out of.

like i said i did the same thing and benched brodeur as i figured let me go for the win. and it would have been better stats just the rangers didnt fire any shots on net. if they would have gotten a few more shots turco's numbers would have been a bit better
but alot could have happened. i think in a H2H matchup those arent that bad of stats to start a week off.

I was pretty content with that. A solid 3-2 outing is about as good as you could hope for from such a matchup and obviously locking down that win was pretty key. I'll make that move every time unless I see a clear favourite. My philosophy is that if I can't be aggressive and play my goalies then there's little reason to own them.
