    Default Update on Rafalski?

Anyone heard when he'll be back? 1 week/2 weeks/ more?

This is from last Wednesday's practice. Similar stories were all over the place, but here's one from the Detroit Free Press. It's the last update I heard on Rafalski. Sounds like he's coming back in the next couple weeks sometime:

Defenseman Brian Rafalski, meanwhile, was at the Joe doing off-ice conditioning as he rehabilitates from having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Oct. 12. Rafalski didn’t know yet whether he’d accompany the team to Canada next week.

“We’ll see how it is Monday and then decide if I’m going or not,” he said. “I’ll pack as if I am and then we’ll see.

“It’s coming along. I’m doing more every day, the pain is getting a little less.”

Defenseman Brian Rafalski skated before practice for 15 minutes, the first time he's been on the ice since having his knee scoped on Oct. 12. Rafalski will travel with the team on the trip, but won't play. Babcock said they hope Rafalski can return for the Nov. 8 game vs. Phoenix at Joe Louis Arena.

    Rotoworld says -

"Brian Rafalski (knee) will travel with the Wings on their Western Canada road trip this week, but he isn't expected to return to the lineup.
Coach Mike Babcock said that Rafalski might play versus the Phoenix Coyotes next Monday. The mobile rearguard has been out of action since the first week of the season following arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Stay tuned.
