FW players

So, i think i might be in trouble in the FW category this season in my league in sig. So am looking at maybe trading or 2 for 1 and then FA to help out.

Notable FA - Handzus, Horcoff, Cullen, Belanger. Pretty slim pickings

However im not sure who i could target in a trade, ideally a 2 for 1 and then pick up maybe Horcoff. So any suggestions at some good FW players to try and trade for based on what i have to offer, maybe someone like Getzlaf?

My top two faceoff guys to go for would be M.Koivu or Vermette, both are underrated and are right up there in that Cat. they may also be obtained for less then other 1st line C's. Then yes get Horcoff, he will do well this season

Turns out the one team has both Vermette and Koivu.

C - Carter, M Koivu, Vermette
LW - Elias, Benn, JVR
RW - P Kane, Semin, Selanne
D - Myers, Gilbert, Stralman, Markov (IR)
G - Luongo, MAF, Niemi, Giguere, Bobrovsky
B - Tavares, Stepan, E Kane, Bozack, Skinner, Kopecky

So i was thinking maybe Gagne for Vermette or is there a way you think i could package 2 of mine for Koivu?

Looks like D is what he needs most. Since you have Carlson on the bench i would think about offering Visnovsky in a deal. Although the hype is big on him being the top D man in Anahiem i dont think his +/- will be to good plus he is already injured and is quite prone to that, with the added pressure of being the top D i think he will be a marked man and even more prone to injury then usual. It may even be better to go for Vermette then Koivu, Min is expected to be a weaker team then Cls plus Koivu had surgery in the offseason plus dosnt have a good supporting cast of goal scorers. You do have a couple of wingers which will win you a few Faceoffs so i dont actually think you are that bad, but its a easy stat to win each week it you can get an advantage

So would Visnovsky and Gagne be overpaying for Koivu. Or would i be better of going for Visnovsky for Vermette?

Try Gagne for Koivu, i think adding Visnovsky would be an overpayment. Could try Visnovsky for Vermette

Hey guys, Raji is my brother and he over values Kiovu, has him in everyteam he can.

That said he does seem to know what hes talking about most the time. Id try Vermette for Gagne. I see Vermette as having a career year with the young kids at Cls hitting thier stride a bit more.

if that doesnt work try going for Kiovu...

or you could start at gagne for kiovu then say you'll downgrade to vermette, who knows he might jump at it. I recently offered Versteeg for Vermette and got turned down, then Kessel for him and got denied. Seems people know he's valuable in leagues with FW even if hes a 60-65 pointer.

Well Gagne for Koivu was rejected, he said he wants more for Koivu.

Now im not sure if Gagne for Vermette is a good deal. As Vermette has only had the one good year but Gagne is garaunteed to put up points.
