1 Year Pts League Question

Hi Guys,

I'm in a 1 year league where we can use the waiver wire only twice. Every player on our team counts and we have 12F, 3D, 1G.

Here are my forwards:
F: Tavares, Ryan, Carter, Eberle, Hemsky, Horton, Gagne, Franzen, Gionta, Versteeg, Huselius, Ennis

Now, my question is how long would Tavares have to be injured for me to drop him to pick someone else up? The initial report seems to be 6-8 weeks, so that makes me want to drop him, but then he'll get picked back up later, so that annoys me.

The other issue is that if I drop him, I'll only have 1.5M$ available to get a player.

Available players: Stephan, MacArthur, Weight, Leino, Schremp, Stempniak. Benn (maybe injured)

Looking at that list, it's probably not worth it? Right?

if those are the only players available on waiver then I would sit tight. Tavares should easily outpoint any of those players.

Yeah I agree ... Thanks and I'll just wait for the confirmation of the length of the injury until I do anything.
