I'll add the first 4 rounds from our draft. This is 2010 players only, points only league with goalies (see sig below). My picks are in bold, pretty happy with what I got.

    48th - Weal

    4th Round
    49th - Wannstrom
    50th - Forbort
    51st - Kuehnhackl
    52nd - Ca. Pickard
    53rd - Brickley
    54th - Bulmer
    55th - Sundher
    56th - Cehlin
    57th - McNally
    58th - Culek
    59th - Thomas
    60th - Martindale
    61st - Heed
    62nd - Gardiner
    63rd - Ross
    64th - Guptill

We play two goalies for vets, the top one gets 2 pts/win and 1 for S/O, the other starter only gets 1 pt/win and 1 for S/O, so that explains why goalies are not valued as highly. I picked up Visentin in the 6th round.

Hope this helps a few other draftees!!

btw, thanks to everyone for posting these drafts and especially to that guy who posted the averages of all the pure 2010 drafts. unreal post man!!

if you're wondering why i had so many picks, i dealt away same roster players who i will replace on our leagues ufa night. i needed to shed some salary and ended up being able to grab some nasty good picks in doing that.

    Here's my last draft:

    1. Play_Man_Not_Puck – Taylor Hall (EDM)
    2. Juicy Jumbos – Tyler Seguin (BOS)
    3. Pieman – PK Subban (MTL)
    4. Hip Hip Huet – Tyler Ennis (BUF)
    5. BackyardHockeyHeroes – Nino Niederreiter (NYI)
    6. Russian Machine – Brett Connolly (TB)
    7. PWDAWG – Jack Campbell (DAL)
    8. Grand Theft Hockey – Henrik Karlsson (CGY)
    9. Russian Machine – Jeff Skinner (CAR)
    10. Mystery Alaska – Jamie McBain (CAR)
    11. The Sin Bins –Ryan Johansen (CLB)
    12. BackyardHockeyHeroes – Mikael Granlund (MIN)
    13. Play_Man_Not_Puck – Vladimir Tarasenko (STL)
    14. Juicy Jumbos – Michael Grabner (FLA)
    15. Pieman - Oliver Ekman-Larsson (PHX)
    16. Russian Machine – Evgeny Kuznetsov (WAS)
    17. Hip Hip Huet – Kevin Shattenkirk (COL)
    18. BackyardHockeyHeroes – Louis Leblanc (MTL)
    19. Hip Hip Huet – Joe Colborne (BOS)
    20. Hip Hip Huet – Robin Lehner (OTT)
    21. Hip Hip Huet – Kirill Kabanov (NYI)
    22. Yellow Submarines – Cam Fowler (ANH)
    23. The Sin Bins –Emerson Etem (ANH)
    24. Russian Machine – John Moore (CBJ)

Quite happy to come away with Connolly, Skinner, Kuznetsov and Moore. But I was pissed I missed OEL at #15. He almost got to me (I had him ranked above McBain) but my big mouth at the draft table might have tipped my hand. Moore with the last pick though is nice consolation though.

We just finished our draft yesterday. This was the league Angus wrote up about his 'Stamkos Trade' article. This prospect draft preceeded the 6 round pro draft. Keep in mind our rule is 1 beer consumed per round.

I changed the team names to the dobber handles. I bolded my picks. Pretty happy with the results.

yeah i was shocked he was still on the board at that point. I was also shocked Granlund was still avialable at 13 after HPG's thread he started the other day. Getting Tarasenko, Granlund and Johansen allowed me to go risk/reward with Kabanov.

Very good draft day all around, but this trade in particular is mindblowingly good IMO.

    ...Or do you lol...

    Can you say: STACKED.
Well, this is a 6-team league so all teams are competitive. I did go on a 3-year championship run and win the Cup in 06-07, 07-08, 08-09. Last year I lost in the 2nd round to the team who won (Green, Stamkos, Miller, Nabokov, etc.)

All 6 teams have their pieces. Look at Tiantonio with a core of Ovechkin, Malkin, Kopitar, Gaborik, Carter, St. Louis, Duchene, Lidstrom, Phaneuf, Carlson, Kiprusoff, Lundqvist, etc. (No Cups yet, but poised for a run soon).

Other teams at a quick glance:

Canucks: Crosby, Thornton, Savard, Hall, Doughty, Del Zotto, Bryzgalov, Brodeur, etc.

Flyers: (both) Sedins, Heatley, Marleau, Richards, Perry, Eberle, Ennis, Giroux, Boyle, Pronger, Streit, Subban, Fleury, etc.

Kings: Kovalchuk, Getzlaf, Datsyuk, Stastny, Toews, Seguin, Keith, Hedman, Bogosian, Enstrom, Luongo, Howard, Ward, etc.

(*2009-10 Champion) Whalers: Stamkos, Ryan, Tavares, Hossa, Kessel, Eriksson, Niederreiter, Benn, Green, EJ, Myers, Miller, Halak, Rinne, Hiller, etc.

Well I certainly like the move, but I need to put it in the proper context since each team can only keep (2) goalies.

The team who traded me Rask already has Kiprusoff and Lundqvist as his keepers. So, from his perspective, he has Mason as depth for this year and gets a top pick in 2011 (for a G he will need end up losing for nothing).

From my perspective, it was a good trade because I have coveted Rask for a while and now I have him and Markstrom as my 1-2 punch in net for the next 10-12 years.

Goalies have always been the weakest part of my team, so last season I decided to zone in on two future studs (Markstrom and Rask). I drafted Markstrom last year and now completed my plan via the Rask trade.

I will keep these guys for life and just continue to draft supporting tenders (like Vokoun, Anderson, Hiller types) to keep my net safe. Now I just need Markstrom to get a taste.
