Default Best Shot to be productive this year

Hey guys, 10 team keeper league. We keep 8 players. I had 3 stud goalies but traded 1 as I didnt want to use 3 keeper spots on goalies. I traded Ward, kept Lundqvist and Howard. 3 goalies is key so you always have someone playing. Who of the leftovers would you target, and how good do you see them doing. 2 pts win, 3 points shutout. Let me know your top options.

    Lehtonen
    Vokoun
    Pavelic
    Ellis
    Smith
    DiPietro
    Roloson
    Leclaire
    Elliot
    Leighton
    Boucher

I'd say Vokoun for sure and gamble on Leighton.

Well I have 1st pick and 8th pick in the first round..when do u think I should gamble and on who. My top 3 are leighton (cuz of the team), vokoun, and lehtonen. Just not sure if theres a clear cut #1 I should grab with the first pick, or if I should wait till 8 and grab one

    Actually a pretty tough choice.

I think I'd go with Vokoun as well, he won't get as many wins in Florida as Leighton will in Philly. BUT, Vokoun could quite easily end up in Philly and then you'd have a stud for the final few months of the year.

#2 for me would be Leighton.
#3 I'd take Kari Lehtonen - Injury prone, but when healthy will put up similar numbers to Leighton. (I'd think more SHO but less wins)
#4 Niitty - Will split starts, but 50% of SJ's wins is almost equal to 80% of Min's wins.
    #5 Backstrom

I'd wait until 8, since the gap isn't really all that big between Leighton and Vokoun.

I would say Vokoun even though I think Leighton will have a good year.

My thinking is for the 2nd half run Vokoun will likely be traded to a contender so for the stretch run he should have some great numbers.

That said if Leighton pans out for the Flyers he'll have great numbers all year.

It's actually pretty sizeable difference. Vokoun is gonna destroy him in shutouts and be within 4 in wins if he spends the whole year in Florida. (which he probably wont) If he get traded, Vokoun's value is even that much higher than Leighton. I'd grab Vokoun. He's a great #3 goalie.

would u guys use the 1st pick to grab vokoun? Keep in mind theres 10 teams with 8 keepers, and 8 rookies kept..so theres really like the top 90-100 players kept. So would you go vokoun at 1? Or a player at 1, and then whomever is there at 8?

    Default Vokoun

Pretty obvious choice to take Vokoun first - but you may want to also consider some of the younger G's who have a chance to make impacts this year. Backstrom should be ok - and then would rather take a chance on one of the young rookies than pick a Leclaire...
