Is he gonna hit 80pts this year?
Does he have the potential for more if Jagr wakes up?

Take away his slow start and you get 24 pts in 22 games. Gomez will continue to be a PPG player and with Jagr in his wing look out for a huge second half.
With 49 games left @ PPG Gomez would end the season with 76pts.

I see NYR scoring like they should have all season and Gomez finishing at 82.

The way he\'s playing now, there\'s probably a good chance. But I would probably say 70-75 to be safe with a possibility of 80-85 depending on Jagr.

    Sorry double post.

side note: Gomez is a great player to pick up due to his slow start he has stayed under the radar.

True! And hurry up because the way he\'s playing now, it will be harder to get him.

I believe Gomez is even better then what he is showing now. Wait until he gets comfortable in NYC. I know he only played across the river, but new teammates, new organization, new fans, he is just getting started..

Look out in the 2nd half. Both Gomez and Jagr pick things up..
