how about Gerbe? I kind of wrote him off with Ennis emerging...
I think Sbisa is gonna be a pretty good d-man...they obviously covet him since they got him back in the Pronger deal. Not sure what his upside is though...I remember seeing a great article on him that was posted on these forums.
Gerbe is a pretty good player too...lots of Buffalo fans were raving about his play even before last season. Dobber has his upside at 90 points.
Agreed. Just was thinking if the OP stated rookies because he needed them to have rookie status or something like that in his league then those guys wouldn't qualify. If not then, I think they very well could be prospects that emerge to make a significant contribution.
Eller, Shattenkirk, MacLean, Backlund, Dalpe will all step in at some pt and make an impact. Sleeper for me is Derek Stepan. NY really doesnt have a clear #1 centre.
