1 vote for Hemsky here ... PPG for the next couple of year . Vanek wont reach PPG ever in his career unless he leave Lindy behind.

I'm going back and forth on this one. I think there will be more quality RWs available to draft with my first pick. But I agree that Hemsky could have a really big year this year.
What kind of draft pick is Vanek worth in a draft that is 7 keepers deep. Do you think I can should be able to get a late 1st rnd pick for him?
12 team H2H 7 keepers
Current Keepers:
C: N Backstrom
LW: Ovechkin
RW: Kessel
D: Green, Doughty
G: Lundqvist, Vokoun
stats: G, A, PTS, +/-, PPP, SHP, PIM, SOG, FOW,
W, GAA, SV, S%, SHO
Positions: 3 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, F, W, 4 D, 2 G
The key word there is could.
In my mind, Vanek is a top 15 LW, and Hemsky is a top 20-25 rw.
I think you could draft Vanek around 10, so yeah, he shoudl be available with a late first rounder. But I think Hemsky would drop even more after 10.
Keep Vanek for sure. He has a better health track record that Hemsky.
i may be biased cause i'm from edmonton, but I'd go with hemsky
vanek will score more goals, but I would bet that hemsky gets more points
hemsky won't be the only offensive player for the opposition to focus on now that penner put in a 30 goal season, hall and eberle are coming up (maybe MPS too), brule impressed, and horcoff couldn't possibly have a worse year
and I think they have better defense to move the puck up to him quickly this year, gilbert and whitney looked great together, and foster has been a nice addition
i think edmonton's offense has been upgraded both up front and from the back end, and buffalo is pretty much the same
I still believe in Vanek. Call me a glutton for punishment!!
