So I don't see AT ALL where its possible there is a clear cut, pack your bags and go home, winner. I know the argument will be made that Chicago played tougher opposition. None of that matters now. The same argument can be made that the Flyers are the hotter team right now after the 3-0 comeback win against Boston and the drubbing of the Habs. I don't care which way you want to spin it, if you get shutout 3 out of 5 games you got whooped. Whether the Habs played poorly or the Flyers played amazing, no matter how you want to spin it, the end result was a beat down.
This will be a GREAT series that I would be extremely surprised if it was decided before a game 6 or 7.

the case for rooting for the Hawks (by a Leaf fan)

And right there is where I stopped reading this article. I like the one I posted better anyway. At least it wasn't Leaf-biased, lol.they’ve booed Santa Claus
All of these stats are interesting but next to useless considering they both played against completely different competition.
This won't even be close.
Even Dobber has seen the error of his ways and switched to Philly, lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Blackhawks won in 5 but it won't be a normal 5 game series (like Philly-Montreal). These teams are very close and the games will be even.
Oh the uneducated. Philly booed santa claus because he came to veteran stadium DRUNK. Let's get our facts right before implying. Yes they booed Irvin and had a courthouse in their stadium.they’ve booed Santa Claus
Yes we are lunatic, but its because we are so passionate about our sports.. we lose our minds.

Santa was a 19 year old kid that they plucked out of the stands and stuck in a raggety suit. He ran around the field at half time in lieu of a full blown Christmas pageant that was promised by ownership. At the time the Eagles were 2-12 and were losing again. The fans took this as just one more way that ownership was screwing them over and poor Santa ended up taking the hit for it.
Whenever I read that statement I stop reading the article. It is used by people that obviously don't know the context of the situation as a way to paint Philadephians, and specifically Philadelphia sports fans, as mean, insensitvie, and ignorant. People act like we revel in tormenting a symbol of hope and joy. If you look at the facts you see that we tormented a symbol of an ownership that had taken a team from Championship to laughing stock in 2 short years, and continued said suckage for almost a decade.
This happened in 1968 (almost 20 years before I was even born), and we're still hearing about it today. Browns fans threw bottles on the field in 2001 and it was forgotten by the next season. I'm tired of being villified for something that happened before I was even alive simply because of the city I live in and the teams I root for. Sadly, I know that come 2018 I'll hear about the 50th anniversary of Santa being hit with snowballs on SportCenter.
Oh yeah, the game that Santa got hit with some snow? The last game of a 2-12 season? The last game of the 7th consecutive losing season? It was attended by 54,535 people.
Sorry for the rant, but that irritates me.
