I like the idea of loading up on wingers. Your top two choices were solid no brainers. Call me crazy for this last pick but I like Okposo's goal scoring prowess in that third slot. Goals are rewarded more in this system so that puts him above Voracek. I smell a breakout for both of them but for some reason I'm smelling it larger for Okposo.

Tough call for me on Okposo and Voracek under normal league conditions - but I think Dude calls it right on Okposo being the goalscorer moreso than Voracek - clearly your league strongly favors goals.

I have too big of a Voracek crush to take Okposo over him, he's on a better team, he has better teammates and he plays a more complete game, so he should have better +/- (esp with Hitch gone) he's due to breakout this year or the next. Their progression has been similar though:

    Voracek

    08-09 9G 29A 38P +11 44PIM
    09-10 16G 34A 50P -7 26PIM

    Okposo

    08-09 18G 21A 39P -6 36PIM
    09-10 19G 32A 52P -22 34PIM

Thanks for all the input everybody! Never really thought of Okposo being a goal scorer over Voracek, but after looking at some stats... could be a great call.

So you all are in agreement that it's better to load up on wingers (pure W, not RW/LW) rather than keep a strong center like Antropov? Will he have another successful season and hit close to 67? In our league, this is the points total:

    Antropov: 124 fantasy points
    Okposo: 86
    Voracek: 76

My guess is that you can replace Antropov's production much easier so yeah go for wingers.

I actually like both Voracek and van Riemsdyk a tad better than Okposo. I think Voracek most likely sees a huge jump in points next year, and he has the potential to be a top player in the league.

After looking at the responses, I do not think I could go wrong with Voracek or Okposo. I probably will not keep JVR because I can get him after the 10th round most likely thus keeping him for '11-12 season when I really do think he'll pop.

I still have a lot of time to think about this one and see what offseason changes come to both teams but right now it looks like its a battle between:

    Okposo
    Voracek

I like Voracek significantly more than Okposo. Something about the kid tells me he will explode this season for 75 pts.

For me it's Okposo or Van Riemsdyk in this format. Most likely Okposo given his safe position next to Johnny T.

    I'd take Voracek over Okposo.

But I think people are underestimating JVR. I think he's the best goal scorer of the three. If you think you can get him in a later round though, I would go with Voracek.
