Yeah what they said. if you are gettign crosby then YES YES YES. if you arent then NO NO NO. doughty is better than goligoski but next yr will be a better picture of his true self once gonchar is gone. so they probably could end up close to similar numbers. doughty with the edge ofcourse.
crosby trumps duchene by what 60 points? rookie yr or not say he tops out at 75.. crosby will break 100 yr in and yr out.
lets not lets elliot vs dipierto fool you here. when dipietro actually plays he is one of the best. his numbers have been pretty freaking good on the islanders. yes he might only play 15 games a season but still i rather have him sitting on my bench then losing crosby.

Yeah I am pretty close to getting it done, may need to take a down-grade on the Goligoski portion (Cam Barker/JM Liles/Jovo?), either that or up the pick/add a prospect. Either way seems like it would be a good deal from what I hear.

If I was the one who had Crosby in the first place, I am not sure I would give him up alone for Doughty, Duchene, Elliott and a 3rd. The fact that you are possibly getting Goligoski and Dipietro is gravy.
