Best 3 Keeper Trades this season?

Worst trade... My (BOTH) Sedins for Malkin and Havlat... I just thought they'd slow down and do as they've ALWAYS done!!!! Now I'm a full on believer, those twins are magic and will ALWAYS have each other to rely on while Malkin has who? Fedetenko, Dupius or Poni ouffff

In the first year of my 5 year keeper league I traded:

Alex Semin FOR Jeff Carter and David Booth

Then

Traded Jeff Carter FOR Paul Stasny and Sergei Gonchar

Semin = Stasny and Gonchar

picked up peverley before he got hot, traded him for yandle and franzen, then packaged franzen and iginla to get backstrom (wsh)!

My Gionta + Moulson for his Clarkson + Evander Kane.

Traded Kariya to get T. Ruutu (league counts hits as a stat.)
Traded Kipper and T. Ruutu to land Fleury and Eric Staal.
Traded Fleury to get Carter, Marleau, and Theodore.

Best trade though was Traded Matt Carle when he was hot for Lidstrom when he was not!

I'm in 2 keeper leagues, and 2 Dynasty leagues, but the Dynasty leagues are teams I've taken over within the last month or so, so those don't count. Between those two leagues, here's my top 3:

1) Out: S. Downie, S. Weber, 8th, 9th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th
In: M. St. Louis, A. Frolov, R. Suter, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th

Basically, this was the first ever three-way trade in one of my keeper league, and for that it was memorable. I gave up a fair bit, but I feel like I made out well, and it puts me in a place to really contend next season. Basically, one guy wanted Downie and Weber, and another guy wanted that guys Ponikarovsky and Kadri. I figured I'd combine the deals into one big move where we all got what we wanted.

2) Out: W. Mitchell, N. Kadri
In: T. Enstrom

Keeper league in the sig, so you can see holding a lot of prospects who aren't playing aren't conductive to competing. I basically had taken Kadri in the draft with the knowledge I could flip him to a Leafs fan when I wanted to. This was the time. Nabbed a great young defenseman in return for an old, injury prone guy who was scoring higher in our league after the first month when this was made, and a prospect who would only eat up bench space I desperately needed. Turns out that extra spot went to M. Neuvirth when he started getting starts.

3) Out: P. Bergeron, W. Simmonds, J. Johnson
In: D. Setoguchi, D. Kulikov, J. Hiller

This is for the league in the signature. Was well out of the running, and was basically trying to work on my keepers. Hiller was about a month away from being the only goalie in Anaheim, but I had no stud goalie. Kulikov netted me a nice young goalie, and Seto will bounce back. Gave up some good players, but solving my goalie issues was key.

JM Liles for D Brown
D Brown for B Ryan

JM Liles working out to be B Ryan, that was pretty sweet lol.

I've had a few trades that really panned out, luck of the draw and moving guys who were hot etc.. For the team in my sig, top 3 trades were likely:

Brassard + Emery for Stamkos + Rolly
JM Liles for D Brown
D Brown for B Ryan

JM Liles working out to be B Ryan, that was pretty sweet lol.

I'm almost more impressed with the first one though, someone really looked highly at Brassard's 20 games and Emery as a bonafide #1 to trade Stamkos that easily.

Yeah it was in the first week, Emery started off with that shutout and a couple wins and I sold him right away. Actually really happy I took Stamkos, not that they aren't great players but he offered me Carter or E Staal as alternatives.

In my dynasty league (complete 30 teams league with farm and prospects)... not the one in my sig. Team not yet in contention.

Traded: Niedermayer & Langenbrunner
Got : Pitkanen, Antropov, Berglund, Riley Nash and 5th round pick
(I really like this deal for me, depth and cap wise)

Traded: Steve Sullivan, Mathieu Garon, Chris Bourque
Got: Jacob Markstrom and Luke Adam
(maybe a lot for Markstrom but... 3 years down, I'll be looking up high... saved 4mil in cap space in the process)

Traded: Rene Bourque and 4th round pick
Got: Langenbrunner and Boedker

Traded: Bolland, Versteeg and MA Bourdon
Got: Hemsky, Benoit Pouliot and 4th round pick
(That was a great deal till I traded Pouliot for Tlusty!!! Time will tell)
