    just saw that washington re-upped this guy and hes leading the AHL in points. he seems pretty small (5'9",165), is there a chance he makes an impact in WAS next year? not sure what other guys contracts are looking like there next year...

    No fantasy value here. Career AHL'er with occasional call-ups to fill in injuries. Not good enough to play in top-6 in NHL and too soft and small to be a effective bottom-6 player.

    Career upside is 20 points in 30 games.

    dead on. He just never proformed at the show and decided to stay in the AHL. he may have made more money in Europe or Russia, but he stayed here and has made a nice little career out of being a minor leaguer.

    Baseball has more of these guys in the AAA and independant leagues. They give an anchor to your minor league team that will always be there, and help get them a few more games every year in the playoffs.

    Move on if you think he will ever get a shot at the NHL, more likely he gets a clear shot in the top 6 in the KHL.
