Default Man Kippy is really having Problems

I could have started Backstrom and sure enough he had a shutout.
Anybody think think Kippy is done? Or should I say Calgary

I think that the challenge of Toskala might help motivate him IF they are lucky enough to get him in for a win Kipper might feel threatened and go on a run to keep his job.

The again, you're talking about a team with a lot of Leafs on it.... it's kind of weird how these teams mirror each other so much. One RW goal scorer, one goalie with a great past, but questionable present, a great D core and thin on F....

I don't think Kipper is done but I think Calgary is done as a whole.

This team has clearly lost it's swagger.

CGY was struggling before the big trades and now they have umpteen new bodies in the lineup. I think it'll be tough for them to establish the necessary chemistry to make a playoff push. They're banking on qauntity being better than the quality they traded, but realistically they've added players that TOR thought were expendable and the NYR wanted to cast off. Add to that many of these guys have years remaining on contracts and I think CGY may struggle next year as well.
