Hey Dobber thanks for doing this. I'm in 3rd place in my 10 team league and am looking to shore up on D to try to win it this year. I have Pitkanen, Green, Myers and Jovanovski on the blue line and I'm wondering what you'd think of replacing either Myers or Jovo (or both) for some FA's. I've also been looking at trading jovo and a pick to a bottom tier team for Lidstrom, but the FA's are the back up plan.
Available FA D: Liles, Martin, Barker, Foster, Yandle, E. Johnson.
What would you do?

I'm in a one year pool which weighs goals a bit more than assists (4 to 3) and I am considering trading Joe Thornton.
I don't normally get to watch Jumbo Joe a lot during the NHL season, but from watching the Team Canada games recently I'm a little disappointed in his play and also imagine that SJ will scale back the top line's ice time heading into the playoffs. Am I wrong in this thinking? I see him getting about a point per game (mostly assists) for the rest of the year and think based on name value I could get a bit more than that.
Thanks,
Stan
Hi Dobber,
Thanks for doing this, I love it.
Another one of these who should I protect questions. My choices are in bold tell me who you would protect ?
9-Team Keeper League. Straight points. Goalies (W=2 SO=1) Dress 14 Forwards, 4 Def and 2 goalies
Protect 15
Forwards : Jason Spezza, Mike Richards, PAul Stastny, Thomas Vanek, Anze Kopitar, Marian Gaborik, Loui Eriksson, Mike Ribeiro, Derick Brassard, Michael Frolik, David Krejci, Tomas Fleischmann, Jason Pominville, Dustin Brown, Valtteri Filppula, Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Justin Williams, Joeffrey Lupul, Rich Peverley
Defensemen: Tobias Enstrom, Alex Goligoski, Mark Streit, Zdeno Chara, Keith Yandle, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Chris Campoli
Goalies: Henrik Lundqvist, Craig Anderson, Pekka Rinne, Nikolai Khabibulin
And Finally, I loved the pre-season guide and pre-season draft list. Are the LTUs only available through the draft list or is there another way to have them up to date ?
Thanks again!

Hi Dobber,
I am hoping you can help me out with some Goalie questions I have.
Any updates on the Philly Goalie situation? Do you think they will make a Trade and if so - who?
Will Varlamov or Neuvirth be the #1 Goalie in Washington next season?
How do you think DiPietro will do next season if he stays healthy? Will he be the #1 or platoon with Roloson?
If Lehtonen can stay healthy – do you think he will be the #1 Goalie in Dallas next season? How do you think he will do?
Thanks a LOT for the help!!!

Hi Dobber,
I've been offered Mikael Backlund, Jakub Kindl and Louis Leblanc for Victor Hedman (and I'd drop Brandon Kozun and Dick Axelsson).
Salary cap, dynasty league. Daily changes, scoring cats are: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPG, PPA, SHP, SOG, FW, and GWG. Start 6D, 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 2UTIL, 2G.
My team:
C - Paul Stastny, Anze Kopitar, Mikhail Grabovski, Gilbert Brule, Frans Nielsen
LW - Daniel Sedin, Rick Nash, Patrick O'Sullivan, Cory Stillman
RW - Milan Hejduk, Michael Frolik, Peter Mueller
D - Mike Green, Mark Giordano, Matt Carkner, Kris Russell, Matt Niskanen, Dan Hamhuis
G - Henrik Lundqvist, Steve Mason, Kari Lehtonen
Farm team of 25. I have the likes of Eberle, Filatov, Hedman, Mcbain, MPS, Shattenkirk, Bowman among other lesser prospects.
Should I do this deal?
Thanks!
1. I really think he can be a 65-point dman. However, injuries hold him back from progressing so I seriously doubt he can get there. That is to say, you are probably looking at a 45-point, 72-game dman
2. No.
3. I like Letang the best because I think he will become a 50-55 point defenseman. Next year is probably 45. I like Liles on another team getting in that 45-50 points. Then Pitkanen. I hate to be hard on Burns, but I really don't want to own him at all.

My money is on - what you see is what you get. Current goalies. They will keep trying to Huet every game they can, only going to Niemi when Huet screws up. If they start blowing playoff games, then and only then will they turn to Niemi and actually stick with him all the way.

Hey Dobs... thanks as always
I have a Chris Stewart question.
At the beginning of the year his upside was probably 65-ish. Now it looks like he could project to a 30-40 goal scorer with a chance to be a ppg'er with a nice PIM boost. Where do you see his potential for next year and beyond?
How much better do you think he projects compared to fleischman?
Thanks again
