Myers for Giroux make sense?

Hi Guys,

I'm planning to pitch my Giroux for another team's Myers. I want to see if it makes sense.

The plan is to give myself some Keeper D flexibility giving me the ability to possibly flip my Doughty + in an effort to either nap kovy or lundqvist.

However this first part, is something I'm wondering will work or not. With the emergence of Hornqvist on my Right side, I'm looking to possibly hang onto Ryan/Perry/Booth/Hornqvist (or flash) on my wings.

Interesting but I think its a mistake. I love Giroux and watching him play every night... he's a playmaker. The team is down as a whole this year but when they return... expect Giroux to hit high numbers.

Myers is having a great season.. but also rookie season.. look at what happened to S.Mason after his hype...

I'd be wary plus you seem to need LW help more than anything.

Yea I think ultimately, I was hoping to grab myers, and keep bogo and myers for next year while using Doughty + to either grab lundqvist and maybe flip him for kovy or a LW. OR go directly to grab kovy to address my LW deffciency! :P But I see the sophomore logic too and maybe will hold off on this!

In terms of what I've got now, between hornqvist and giroux, who would be the keeper after perry? I imagine the logic would be that hornqvist is producing NOW, where as Giroux is still "potential to be realized"?

I'm pretty certain Afino is not going to make the cut.

Keeeeeeeep Doughty he is a stud that should not be traded.

Also I agree that Myers is having a great rookie season but I don't expect it to be long-term. Giroux is the player to own in a keeper.
