Which one of these guys has the highest skill, and potential to have the largest success on their respective teams for the rest of this season and all of next season?
I currently have Pavelec, though Niemi and Neuvirth are options.
For THIS AND NEXT season, hands down it is Pavelec. I feel that he has the most opportunity (due to Lehtonen injury problems, no challenge for starting role from Hedberg) and has gained the most experience from his minutes and play this season.
It's pretty safe to say that Neuvirth is probably going to be a part of the Capitals next season, but no guarantee he will play more than Varlamov.
Niemi is a perfect backup for the Blackhawks right now, but Huet is an elite goalie and will have no problem retaining the starting role throughout next season.
But as always, anything could happen!!! But as of now, gotta go with Pavelec.
