I should add that Mr. Halak has 11 wins in his last 16 starts.
Discuss.
[Sorry Price owners... not trying to rub it in, or beat a dead horse, but I thought the stat itself was pretty jaw-dropping.]

The problem is the waiver rules, he's still very young and needs time away from the spotlight in the AHL. But he played over 80 games or whatever and now he's stuck in the NHL unless he clears waivers which will never happen. That's the risk with giving someone too much too soon.

Wow, just realized that I added wrong. D'oh! Price has 10 wins in his last 38 starts, not 42. My bad.
Wish I could edit the thread title.
Doesn't change the point, though.

No you still hit the nail on the head. He's so insecure under the MTL microscope. Anytime there's some talk about anything (good or bad) it puts him off his game.
Part of the problems are the Habs themselves. So inconsistent with the smurf line. The all-out quick striking offence doesn't work every night. And in a 3-1 game like tonight, even if Price would've been better, they still would not have won.

Im so happy that I got rid of him.
I envy you NYR - I appear stuck with him - unfortunately I think things would have been different had Markov not been injured - he isn't playing horrible of late just not very good and the result is gruesome because his team is not helping him.
I dropped him for Pavelec... Though the way Atl and Pavelec has played lately - I want Price back
I think the fact that Halak has won 11 in 16 is more staggering...
Thats almost 40+wins pace... for Halak.
This year in Hockey, Fantasy wise is so upside down. I wonder if the injuries will ever stop...
Is he going to turn it around or what?
Someone has offered me Price and Saku for Osgood and Justin Williams
Goalie stats in the leauge are just wins and SO's. I have Lundqvist, Rinne and Osbad. Can only keep 2. I think i want to go through with it and keep whoever does better at the end of the year, Rinne or Price.
That's not a bad deal for you notcraig. I'm not liking what is happening in Nashville recently, and coupled with the resurgence of St. Liuis, Columbus and Chicago, the Preds are looking like the whipping boys of the Central Division.
I'm not saying that Rinne won't be a grat goalie, but having him as one of my top two going forward would make me a little nervous.
