What to do with Cam Ward
Hi guys,
What an horrible start for Carolina and Cam Ward. They cant win, Staal out for few weeks...what to do with Cam Ward. Try to trade him ? drop him for 1 of the following:Pavelec, Theodore ? Or just keep and wait for him to come back strong ?
I know must of you going to answer to keep him but damn it...it kills to see how crapy Carolina is...they lost againts TO god damnit.

Same boat here - unfortunately his value is at an all time low so a trade is out of the question, absolutely nothing on my free agent list worth picking up so I'm stuck with him. I never would have envisioned this kind of a start for him and the Canes, just horrible numbers.

I had pegged him as a top 5 goalie this year. Thought the run Carolina went on late last year would spill over and Ward would finish with his best year yet. I still think there's potential for a huge turnaround.
Patience is a virtue guys. Carolina is jsut having some bad luck this year. If it was a 1 year leauge you might want to consider it, but it's a keeper. In keepers Ward is one of the most valuable goalies, so don't even think of dropping him for one of those.
Bah...not sure of is injury but doenst look good. All this for nothing. let see how long he is out for. Looking at Theo or Vokoun to replace him.

I just hopes he gets an IR status. It's really hard to keep a guy who is doing nothing on my roster for a month after he only got me a couple wins....
