Goalie Tandem vs Two seperate 1B's (or 2A's)

I'm trying to read my crystal ball, and decide what will be the best play now for the rest of the season.

I currently have Rinne/Ellis. Niittymaki is on the WW. I was thinking of dropping Ellis, hoping Rinne takes the #1 role and rides with it. This would leave me with Rinne/Nittymaki (plus the others in my sig). I know its a bit of a gamble, but it could pay off if Nitty gets the #1 gig and roles with it.

Why so many?

The league you have setup I would probably take Nitty over Ellis.

I expect Ellis to start most of the games next week though...

I don't like the idea of dumping Ellis for Niitty simply because you expose yourself to the possibility of ending up with 2 backups in Rinne and Niitty - not likely for sure but possible and I just don't think the potential gain in your league is worth the risk at this point.
