    Default Shea Weber

Anyone know why he hasn't played since the start of the 3rd period. NHL.com shows him having a 30 something second shift in the 3rd and that's it.

Any news/info on this situation would be helpful.

I guess Weber took a shot off the skate (commentators).

Why wouldn't another one of my stars get injured? F**k. Hope good news follows.

Just found this...I think I can breathe a little easier now:

    From: http://www.predsontheglass.com/

The Predators finished the game strong and were enthusiastic about the upcoming West coast road trip.

Shea Weber was looking forward to the road trip saying, “It’s always a fun trip, it will be warm out there and hopefully we will get some wins and get on a roll.”

Barry Trotz was equally enthusiastic, “We are looking forward to the West coast trip where we have had success in the past and hopefully, we’ll do it again.”

Shea Weber played sparingly toward the end of the contest after taking a puck to the lower body on one occasion and losing an edge on another. When asked if he was OK after the game, he jokingly responded, “I just got benched, I wasn’t playing well.” The he was more serious in saying, “I feel good!”

UPDATE 1:00pm Shea Weber has an injured foot and will miss one-to-two weeks. We'll have to see if Nashville is confident with having only 6 defensemen, or if the call someone up.
