    Default Iginla++ for Marleau+

Hey guys i was wondering if you think i should do this trade? Im in a keeper league which counts theese stats

Skaters - G, A, P, +/-, PIM, PPG, PPP, SHP, SOG, FW, GWG
Goalies - GS, W, L, Save%, GAA, SO, Shots, Saves

    I would get:
    Iginla
    Saku Koivu
    Johan Franzen

    He gets :
    Marleau
    Plekanec

Im kind of weak at Right wing. Is this selling high on marleau or will he keep it up, or does it even matter because he will probabaly not stay in san jose after this year? In my league Marleau contributes to all the stats except pim which is 11 offensive cats this is why im having a hard time dealing him.

    My Team
    C-Malkin/Savard/Mcdonald/Plekanec/Dubinsky
    LW- Heatley/Marleau/Wolski/O'sullivan
    RW- Havlat/Eriksson/Stafford/Kovaleav
    D- Kaberle/EJ/Letang/Pitkanen/Gilbert/Enstrom
    G-Luongo/Raycroft/Vokoun/Roloson

I don't think I do this trade - Marleau is not a sell high, he's going to produce all year, and Plekanec is regaining the form he had a couple of years ago.

I know Iggy is great but he's getting up there in age; Koivu is a good bet to get hurt, plus he will retire after this yr or the next; and I doubt Franzen comes back this season, and who knows how his injury will affect his production - maybe not at all but why take the chance?

Yeah I'm with the dog here - you have two sweet producers on your hands right now - who I think will increase in value as the season progresses if things keep going the way they are.

I would not do the deal but would wait and watch.

On top of that, it is not a sure bet that Marleau will be leaving San Jose after this year. I do believe that either him or Nabby will be gone but if I had a gun to my head, I would say that Nabby would be the one to go. The Sharks have very few skaters in their system right now and none of them come close to the talent of Marleau. They are absolutely stocked with goalies though.
