Am I one of the few people who think Anderson is going to be a better goalie than Price the next few years?

Anderson was not able to do it for a full year last year in Florida. He had a lengthy hot run and then lost the starting job back to Vokoun. The thing Anderson has going for him is that he's got Budaj, not Vokoun behind him. The bad thing is that it's Colorado... they could head south just like Phoenix did last year.

I like Anderson, and he very well may be an elite option over the next while. I wanted to capitalize on his amazing start and upgrade my LW keeper, otherwise I probably would have kept him. I've never been a big Price fan, but I love Vanek and if Price doesn't turn it around, there are workable options on the FA list. That is simply my thought process behind this deal.

i think anderson will be a very good option in net (i drafted him in our one year experts roto league - very very late), but price is much younger... has a much better pedigree, and will be given every chance to succeed...

anderson will only get so many chances if he falters (think manny fernandez), but price will likely get an unlimited number of shots to become a star.
