I think Enstrom is the safest guy to have a good full year.
Del Zotto
Hunwick
Carkner
Robidas
Enstrom
Need to add a d-man and I could use some thoughts on who would be best fit for the team in my sigmature.
These guys look to be the best options in the pool Carkner / Del Zotto / Enstrom / Hunwick / Robidas.
Looking for your rankings who to take. I am leaning toward Del Zotto but Tortorella scares the H*** out of me when he gets pissed. Carkner looks like he might make a good points/pims combo but what will happen when Kuba returns?
I think Enstrom is the safest guy to have a good full year.
i would stay far away from Del Zotto. Enstrom is your guy
I agree. Enstrom is your best choice for this year.

Thanks guys. Still not sure what I will do.
Had Enstrom last year and was happy with his output until Bogo came in. Worried about the same this season.. although Schneider is gone.
Del Zotto's ice time on the powerplay is pretty nice to see and may be fogging my vision.
Enstrom is clearly more established so is the better choice all else being equal. But let's not be fooled here, Del Zotto's ice time is increasing over the opening 5 games of the season. He has consistently had the most PP ice time on the team, but now he's getting more ES time too - total of 17 minutes tonight. That's a really good sign that he's earning more and more of Torts' confidence.

I would want to see what happens after the 9th game before making a call on Del Zotto. I don't think the AHL is an option for Del Zotto and while he has looked good at the start of the season, the NHL schedule is a long grind. Not sure if the Rangers are going to consider returning him to juniors. I wonder what happens when Del Zotto makes a couple of gaffes at the defensive end. It just seems to me that Torts is bound to put Redden/Rozival out there at some point.
Enstrom is much less or a risk but I could see Del Zotto out pointing Enstrom if he QBs the top PP unit at MSG all season long.
Enstrom = safest pick
Del Zotto = biggest upside
The others are second fiddle to these two.

Thanks for all of the input guys.
I went with Del Zotto because I think in our league Enstrom will still be sitting in the pool for a while and if this experiment does not work I should be able to get him in a few weeks.
Hopefully the kid can stay out of Tort's doghouse.
