Who do I take 1st overall?

Hey,

I'm in year two of a keeper pool with 12 GM's. Our teams consist of 12 forwards, 6 defense, 2 goalies and a bench of 3 others. 1 point for a goal or assist, 0.10 for each PIM, 2 points for goalie win and 2 more for shutout.

After last year, we've dropped down to 14 and now redraft back up to 23.

I have the 1st overall pick and with the following available, who should I take?

Giroux
Hodgson
Filatov
Eriksson
Varlamov
Hiller
Emery
Goligoski
Enstrom
Filipula
Leino
Little
O'Sullivan

I have S. Mason and Kipper as my goalies so I'm looking to see who would be the best investment with this first round pick (but essentially 15th round).

I'm thinking Tavares because of his history..but am hoping for 60 points plus production from this pick.

Any advice?

go with tavares, best player in the long term. I wouldn't be to optimistic of Tavares getting 60 pts, think more in line of stamkos first year production of 48 pts. Tavares doesn't have any good wingers around him except for okposo who really isn't an elite player.

Right now Tavares is over rated but could get you good value in a trade if you decide to go that route.

Tavares if you want the best long term, but if you want/need 60 pts. this year, he's a bit more of a gamble. Little would be my second choice.

Draft tavares and then trade for filatov plus. Or trade down and get some extra value. thats just me though, i wasnt fortunate enough to have a #1 pick haha
