    Question Marian Gaborik, Opinions

What do you guys think of Marian Gabork? How many points is he gunna put up? Is he a safe pick? Can he stay healthy?

I am a strong believer of Gaborik this year, and I think he's gunna rack em up!

He's already "questionable" for the season opener on Fri vs Pitt according to tsn.ca (groin, surprise surprise).

I grabbed him in my first pool of the season Friday, in round 7 of 10 (guys at the office)...it's totally worth a role of the dice imo...who knows what he'll play, but if he does stay healthy look out

wow, do any of you actually know what you are talking about?

He hasn't been under a point per game in a long time.

80 points is not a max production for him. If he gets into 75+ games expect closer to 90+. he is no longer stifled in Minnesota's system and will out produce his 83 points there if he gets into those games.

He is not a safe pick, at all, he is one of the riskiest, if not the player with the most risk, out of any other player in the league. It is a risk worth taking if he does stay healthy.

As long as you don't project him for anywher near a full season, and draft him accordingly, you'll be ok.

yah, this guy is an explosive offensive threat. But yes, i do know, you cannot rely heavily on this guy for a good season. I picked him up late (8thround i think), just hoping maybe i can get a good season out of him. lol, he cant be injured all his life!!

He's the definition of risk versus reward. I was really hoping after the hip surgeries that maybe the groin would be a little better. Given that he's already sat out 4 preseason games, I'm a little scared.

If a miracle happens and he stays healthy for 82 games with Torts as the coach, with the 22+ mins a game he will get under Torts, I'd guess 95 points wouldn't be out of the question.

My guess, however, is 57 games, 68 points.
