I was hoping the Canucks would have already announced an extension for Luongo, particularly given his prominent involvment at the entry draft. That would really help with signing some UFAs/RFAs and potentially with people taking less money to play in Vancouver. But nothing yet - any views from \'insiders\'? Would love that announcement!

As a nuck fan I\'m happy to see Luongo not sign yet... this means Gillis is still looking to add a player or two. When the team is set Luongo will extended to a term and price thats allows the team to be competitive
