At #22 I\'d take Carter Ashton. Good size, speed, physical plus has good bloodlines. I think he has untapped offensive upside. A safe risk/reward pick (if that makes sense) in this draft.

Aaah finally my turn to pick again. With most of the forwards in the Top 30 gone, I\'m going to reach a bit further into the bag. Although this guy shouldn\'t be too deep in it.

    #21 Jaroslav Janus (Erie Otters)

You can never have too many goaltending prospects in fantasy, especially when goalies make up such a large part of most fantasy scoreboards. Janus absolutely stole the show in the world juniors this year playing incredibly with a terrible team in front of him and making the tournament Allstar team. This is a guy you have to look behind the numbers, and it\'s his gamebreaking potential that gets him this pick, although he could also be a monster flop.
Great pick. This kid was also unbelievable in the 1st rd of the OHL playoffs vs. the London Knights. He stole 2 games for Erie and kept them in the rest. Ive never seen a goalie get up from his knees to fast. Lightning quick reflexes. Nice pick.

In a fantasy prospect draft I think Jeremy Morin here is an absolute steal. I have read that Morin is arguable the second best finisher in the draft (behind Tavares) but his below average skating is holding him back. If this kid adds some muscle he has the skills to be a good goal scorer in the NHL.

Darn, never saw that. I checked the front page and he wasn\'t on the list.. I guess it wasn\'t updated fully when I picked last night.

haha, i love how seriously we\'re taking this. let\'s get it moving again:

    #23 Kyle Palmieri

A guy who I would think hard about taking even earlier, I think it will be interesting to see where he gets taken in June. Will teams be scared off by the fact that he was kicked out of the USNTDP and hasn\'t been skating with a team since?

Or is there truth to the comparisons to Zach Parise?

Either way, according to hockeysfuture he was the best American skater at the Five Nations tournament.

    I\'ll keep this going.

    I\'ll take Tomas Tatar.

He had a fine WJC with the surprising Slovaks as he scored 7G and 4A in 7 games to finish 4th in scoring. He finished 2nd in goals only 1 behind Filatov and Tavares.

    25th: Oliver Ekman Larsson

Touted as a top 3 or 4 Dman in the 09 draft, already a steady defensman in the SEL at 17 years old, think of a poor man\'s Lidstrom

Won\'t last until the 25th spot in june B)

Good Pick. Too bad we can\'t see him at the U18 since he had a season ending injury in his leagues last game.

Well I was hoping for OEL to drop to me my next time up, but I will take David Rundblad instead...still a great puck moving Dman

Great pick. He has size, great skating, and a good shot. I think he could be a big deal in a couple years in the NHL. I like him more than Ekman-Larsson.

My selection at #29 would be John Moore (Chicago - USHL). Having a terrific season, he\'s been compared to some of the top d from last year like Gardiner and Carlson. Might be more two-way, but still has had a great year, with talent in all facets of the game.
