Its hard to tell who has the best team. I think Jon Press, Steve Johnson, and Chris Burns will be 1, 2, and 3. Maybe not in that order but I like those teams the best. Who do you guys think?

hard to say how they will finish, bc in my opinion, these teams will change a lot over the season.

Yah I\'m sure these teams will change a lot so a prediction now probably means little, but I know everyone\'s been waiting for my prediction (wishful thinking?), so here goes. First my criteria, I weighted the quality of goaltending very heavily. I\'ve played for 2 years in a league where we had a similar division of stat categories namely 60 skaters and 40 goalies, the first year Kipper ran away with the pool, and last year it was a team stacked with Luongo and Brodeur. Second, I looked at the number of categories a team was foregoing. Teams that seemingly gave up on 2 or 3 categories I have trouble counting as serious contenders. Giving up on 1 category is fine but in a roto league where there\'s only 120 points available sacrificing 20 to 30 potential points means that you have to be at the top of almost every other category, hard to do. Third, I looked at teams that seemed to have shot at every category or at least to have paid attention to every category. This sounds a lot like 2nd criterion but I look at it this way there\'s a difference between completely conceding categories and just not making an effort to address it. For part of this I rely on comments and for part of it I rely on my judgment of the players.

My top teams

Angus - If Ward rebounds to return to a 35 win goalie with a solid GAA, Angus seemingly only lacks in one category PIMs. Although I\'m pretty sure Henrik Sedin is actually worth negative SOG\'s.

Dobber - Goaltending is solid but potentially middle of the pack. All \'O\' categories seem to be addressed sufficiently. May finish at the top but could just as easily finish in the middle of every category.

JP - I like this team a lot there dont seem to be a lot of weaknesses. PIMs will be a struggle all year but the \'O\' is deep and balanced and the goalies are good, with only minor question marks.


Sleeper picks

Notch - If Legace stays healthy and St. Louis does a little better than expected, and thus Roloson doesnt have to be played and hurt GAA and SV% the numbers could bring him close to the top of the \'G\' cats. Notch lacks PIMs but by god is there loads of talent on this team.

Lanky - This doesnt seem like much of a sleeper pick, but Lanky\'s got huge ?\'s in net. Fleury and Budaj will get wins but will they provide solid enough numbers in the other 4 goalies cats. If the goalies do provide sufficient strength Lanky has a solid \'O\' with nice balance in all \'O\' cats.

Burns - WHERE\"S THE GOALIES? enough said, this was getting way too long anyways.
