Re: Stanley Cup Final: Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers
The dam finally broke open for the Oilers as the managed to get the puck off the ice on Bobrovsky. The Panthers are human and can be beat.
Connor Brown has been a completely different player in the playoffs. I said all along they signed him for the playoffs more than the regular season and he's proving why. He's probably been the Oilers most consistent player for the playoffs. Not their best player at times but their most consistent. After the regular season he just had, he owes the Oilers another dirt cheap contract with zero bonuses next year.
Draisaitl a diver? Not really, but we saw a fantastic one from Sam Bennett in the 1st period. They got the tripping call right but he did all he could to sell for more. Even a trip down towards the dressing room. No surprise, he was back in the bench and missed no shifts. Nice try Sam. Draisaitl, like most superstars in the league, takes a ton of abuse most shifts, both physical and stick. I'm sure he gets frustrated as others would too.
Fun game to watch.
