Okay, i knew this would be a tough one going in, but hearing crickets I'll narrow things quite a bit with this next clue....
CLUE#1 - I'm a retired defenseman who is not North American and played in the NHL as a teen
CLUE#2 - Despite debuting in the NHL as a teen, it wasn't until I was 24 that I spent a season just in the NHL and not part of the same season also in the AHL or other league
CLUE#3 - In a five consecutive season period, I played a full season in North America, then a full season in a pro league not in North America, and then a full season in North America, and then a season in a pro league outside of North America, and then a full season in North America, and none of these two seasons outside of North America corresponded with either the canceled 1994-95 NHL season or the shortened 2012-13 NHL season
CLUE#4 - I never had an NHL season where I produced at even a point per every other game rate; yet in my best season, I finished in the top ten among defensemen in four separate offensive stats, and that was despite missing more than a handful of games
CLUE#5 - I played for multiple NHL teams, but the city/region for each team started with the same first letter (note that for purposes of this clue, "S" would be the first letter of St. Louis Blues and "N" for New York teams as well as for New Jersey)
