    Thanks.
I like Suzuki and I think Montreal's trajectory is on the up and he's only 24 and I think much untapped potential still.

Celebrini will probably be awesome, but how MUCH better than Suzuki at his peak?
Cossa might be good, might be bust, who knows? I can replace Holtz in my lineup pretty easily.

I am trying to win now....so that also plays into it.

I'll be honest, I really don't like this. But who knows. I just can't help but think that at some point really soon if MOnteal wants to improve and Martin St Louis wants to keep his job he will have to ice 2 and possibly 3 legitimate scoring lines, not 1. If you think Slaf, Caulfield and Suziki will play together forever, I suspect you are seriously mistaken. We'll see.

Yep I get it. But Celebrini at the moment has 0 NHL points and he'll probably be 2-3 years away from what I need. So it makes sense for me now.

The trade you made is certainly better than the initial offers but I’m still not sure I would’ve made it. I like Suzuki but I think we’ve seen his ceiling 70-80 points every year. Now that may well be Celebrini’s ceiling also. I’m not sure I buy the 100 point ceilings I hear but it’s possible, he is good. Overall you helped your team this year and I hope you get the championship!!!

He might be but so am I.

    my centers are now complete

    McDavid
    Matthews
    Larkin
    Suzuki

then I draw in on wing, K. Connor, A. Debrincat, J. Kyrou, Joseph

My defense is meh, but good peripheral guys and then in goal I have Hellebuyck and Oettinger.

I am looking to win now and Suzuki does that for me, more than Celebrini will.

    I appreciate everyone's feedback

I'm still interested in how (the rights to) Celebrini ended up on your team in the first place.
There's no world where your roster gets you to a spot in a reasonable fantasy league to get the Celebrini draft pick.

    ???

He has guys like Joseph, Noesen, Lafferty, Pohling, Blais. My worst player on team is Johnny Guadreau and I still didn’t make playoffs

I finished in the bottom 4.
We have a lottery drawing for bottom 4 teams. I jumped in the lottery to 1st overall.

I also did some other trades recently to acquire Hellebuyck, for example.
I made a few trades at deadline to improve such as Oettinger. etc.
Each week last year I would lose by a slim margain, just always seem to go against a hot team THAT week. I just had a rough year overall.
All of that wrapped up into me being in bottom 4 and in the lottery.
