*wow* Dickinson at #4 is a surprise... but the others have gone off in a fairly expected order.
Whoever drafted at #5 probably walked up to the podium like the Red Wings when Arizona took Barrett Hayton and passed on Zadina (which... turns out... was a solid pick by ARI!!! LOL... so what do we know)

The site has a general "every draft" thread once it gets going in leagues.
Most leagues don't draft until after the NHL draft... but I was, too, once in a league that drafted before.
I didn't do so hot in that league with my prospect drafting!

Well, this particular draft certainly does indicate that as many of the big dog experts have suggested, beyond Celibrini, the draft order is significantly unpredictable.

Personally I am not that surprised that Dickinson went 4th. It seems a realistic possibility he could go that high in the real draft too. There’s a lot to like about Dickinson. Reminds me of Sanderson in his draft year in regards to what people were saying about him…wasn’t as “offensive” but a sure fire player. But those upsides are fluid when a kid is 17-18. I really like Dickinson I think he should go high!
